Alyssa Smelley Remembered Through Athletic Scholarship

Westmont has established a scholarship in memory of Alyssa Smelley who died July 4. She was the daughter of Russell Smelley, head track and cross country coach at the college. She was 15.
The scholarship will be awarded to track and field or cross country student-athletes who demonstrate a strong Christian faith, wholesome character and a commitment to academic excellence.
