(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) Upon the conclusion of his first year in a Warrior uniform, junior Carl-Philip Lindqvist was named to the NAIA Men’s Tennis Second Team All American roster of sixteen. Despite the first round knockout of the NAIA National Tournament last week in Mobile, Alabama, Lindqvist has proved to be one of the top competitors in the nation.

Due to many season long injuries, the Warriors found it necessary to change up their team rankings multiples times throughout the season. That being said, Lindqvist has split time between number one and number two singles. At the end of a season packed full of great competition, Carl holds an overall singles record of 10-12 (3-8 number one singles, 7-4 number two singles).

In doubles competition, he mostly played alongside Travis Kimsey and Joshua Barnard in the number one position. At the conclusion of his first year at Westmont, he holds an individual doubles record of 11-12 (4-3 with Travis and 7-9 with Joshua).

As a team, the Warriors capped their season off last week with a final overall record of 10-15.
