The mission of the Westmont College Athletic Training/Sports Medicine staff is to provide for the prevention, evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries. Our goal is to deliver immediate, quality care to student-athletes participating across all 14 varsity sports.
The staff includes three physicians, one on-site Doctor or Physical Therapy, two full-time Certified Athletic Trainers and approximately 15 student first responders.*
Injury rehabilitation is by appointment basis only, Monday-Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. An athletic trainer will be available on-site during all practices and game competitions.
All pre-participation paperwork must be submitted prior to starting practices. You will not be allowed to participate without completing the forms. Please refer to the links on the left of the page for additional information.
*Student first responder opportunities are open to those who are kinesiology majors, or any students who are interested in pursuing a degree in Athletic Training. If you are intereted in applying, please contact Maria Smith or Chris Walstead.
