FAQ
What is an athletic trainer?
Athletic trainers specialize in injury and illness prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for all physically active people, including the general public. All athletic trainers must go through an accredited curriculum program at either a Bachelor or Master’s level. To retain certification, credential holders must obtain 100 hours of medically related continuing education credits every four years and adhere to Membership Standards.
