Westmont Men’s Soccer History

The Westmont men’s soccer program has a long history of success. Since its beginning in 1965, Warrior teams have won 590 games – second in the NAIA record book. Westmont has made 17 trips to the NAIA National Tournament and produced 41 NAIA All-Americans.

Westmont soccer is one of the only schools to boast two head coaches with over 200 victories and a third with over 100. Russ Carr took over the program in its infancy and produced 202 victories and a national title. Bob Fortosis then won 114 games in his eight seasons, and Dave Wolf has 269 wins since taking over in 1991.
