We’ve set up two displays of ceramic selections from the Dewayne and Faith E. Perry collection. They are excellent examples of two different firing techniques and are a good source of inspiration for artists and an opportunity for contemplation for art admirers.
Thank you, Dewayne and Faith Perry, for sharing these works with us.
12 Speed, our exhibition of works by the graduating art majors of Westmont College, opened on Thursday, April 4th to an incredibly well-attended reception. We were touched by the strong community support as hundreds of people came from across the college campus, Santa Barbara, and surrounding cities to celebrate the achievements of Westmont’s 12 senior art majors.
The exhibition will be open through May 4.
Please enjoy a few images from the opening.

In keeping with Corot’s love of the outdoors, Families are invited to use their senses to experience nature in a fun afternoon of crafting, bookmaking, and drawing. Take inspiration from the paintings in the gallery, create your own sketchbook, then join us for a walk around Westmont’s campus as we look and listen to nature while using craft techniques to record the things we discover. Snacks are included.
Come spend an afternoon outdoors and learn about the relationship between art and nature!
This event is free and is geared toward families. Children of all ages will enjoy this fun-filled event, young children may need help in book-making.
Full event will run approximately two and a half hours. However, it is possible to come for portions of the event. It is best to arrive at the beginning for the gallery quiz and bookmaking experience!
