Warriors pull out win in final seconds

Christoper Jackson picked the perfect time to hit his first shot of the night. The 5-9 junior finished the night with just two points, but they proved to be the difference in Westmont’s 63-61 victory over Cal State San Bernardino Saturday night. After a back-and-forth game, the Warriors (5-4) looked like they finally had things in hand, with a 61-56 lead in the final two minutes. Devin Montgomery nailed a straight-away three to cut the Westmont lead to two, and after the Warriors threw away the ensuing in-bounds pass, CSUSB (2-4) tied the game at 61 with 25 seconds remaining. more
