In what is shaping up to be a political game of musical chairs, five candidates vying for two North County seats on the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors will gather Tuesday for a forum in Santa Maria to answer questions and discuss issues. … Third District Supervisor Doreen Farr, and 4th District Supervisor Joni Gray represent a large portion of the North County including the Santa Maria, Lompoc and Santa Ynez valleys. … Farr had wide-ranging business experience prior to joining the Board of Supervisors. She is co-owner of the Goleta Valley Voice newspaper, she has also served as a partner in a pair of local radio stations and Victoria Street Theater. Farr also worked as a financial aid counselor at Westmont College and a planning consultant for the city of Goleta. more
