Menlo College splits DH with, Westmont

There’s really no other way to describe the regular season for the Menlo College baseball team than crazy. The Oaks were the sixth ranked team in the nation earlier and got that high in the rankings without playing a single home game… The Oaks may not have scored a ton of runs on Friday, but their hard work paid off, clinching a playoff spot in a doubleheader split with host Westmont College. Menlo is 33-16 (17-11), while Westmont is 27-21 (12-15). more

Swiss track athlete broke heptathlon school record

International student-athlete Andrea Müeller has jumped, ran and thrown her way to victory, leaving her mark at City College by breaking multiple school records for the track and field team… Müeller was selected as athlete of the week in March by the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table for her school record-breaking heptathlon at the Jim Klein Combined Events meet at Westmont College. more
