Hey rockers!
Geuss what! One in Christ is meeting tonight. They will be meeting at 9:30 in the Monroe Dining Hall and discussing the liturgy of the Roman Catholic tradition and the significance and ceremonies of the Lenten season.
Also, this saturday EARTH will be taking a hike of the trails that Dr. Paul “Bunyon” Willis has made around campus. This hike will be headed by Prof. Willis and is therefore sure to be the coolest event of the year. Afterward, their will be some fresh fruit bought at the Farmers market so that all may be rejuvenated by some earthy goodness after the hike. THe hike will not be terribly strenuous, wear some gymn shoes and prepare to experience the beautiful nature that is right by your dorm room.

As Al Roker says, “here’s what’s going on in your neck of the woods.” I am presently working on developing a calendar where I can list all ministry events online, however, until that is developed, I will be posting all the events that I am told of by the various ministry leaders. so here is the scoop for the today:
1) Ministry and Club Community Carnival! It is going to be awesome, and on top of hearing about all the student run groups on campus, you are also able to eat popcorn, ice cream and win an ipod without spending a cent! Now that is a deal, so get on the ball and head to the page mpr from 4-5:30
2) Invisible children is having their first spring meeting tonight 6:15-7 in Founders dining hall!
I hope you take time to check these out!

“Earth, the Environmental ministry is hosting a clothes swap. The week
prior to the event drop any old clothes off infront of the DC and recieve
a ticket that can be used in exchange for new things at the swap. Bring
something old, get something new. We are doing this in order to combat
consumerism during the holiday season. It is to pose the idea of not
always buying everything new but exchanging with those around you.”

This sounds exceptionally cool, so check it out!
