Westmont College evacuated one day before graduation

A small Montecito college, ravaged by fire in November, was evacuated today because of the Jesusita Fire, one day before graduation, school officials said. Several hundred students were at Westmont College, 995 La Paz Road, when it was evacuated this morning, said Paul Morgan, an economics professor at the Christian college. About 1,200 students normally attend Westmont, but few were on campus because the semester had ended. more
