Crabbe caps big week with stellar outing

Twenty four hours after giving a game away, the Foresters converted two miscues into early runs to help starting pitcher Tim Crabbe defeat the California Wahoos 7-1 at Uyesaka Stadium in a Saturday Game that was shortened to eight innings due to darkness. The Westmont College junior struck out nine and pitched six shutout innings to get his second win for the 6-2 Foresters. Manager Bill Pintard said that his pitcher was vital to Saturday’s victory more ways than one. more
