Extra-gallery and public access art venues can pop up in surprising places, as we’ve seen in many Santa Barbara eateries and, for example, in the makeshift gallery space lining the hallways of the Rehabilitation Institute of Santa Barbara. To that local list of art spaces that might catch public eyes unawares we can now add the Tennis Club of Santa Barbara, the picturesque spot where suburbia yields to the wilds of Mission Canyon, on upper Foothill Road. … Two of the artists have Westmont connections, having taught art there.
