Low-budget film shot at 10 SB locations in 20 days

Not too long ago the story was still just an idea in Nicholas Tolkien’s mind. It started two years ago when he was seventeen as a screenplay for television but has evolved in a soon-to-be-completed feature film. “We’re doing something on a low budget with really big ideas,” said Mr. Tolkien, 19, a Westmont student, as he and his crew set up for the final scene of his film on Sunday afternoon at Summerland Beach. The film is a drama called “Anacapa,” after the Channel island, which figures deeply in the story. more
