Gearing up for winter : Annual wellness program focuses on homeless

Project Healthy Neighbors, an annual three-day wellness program for Santa Barbara’s homeless, kicked off Monday at Casa Esperanza. The event brings together more than 25 local health and social service agencies, more than 100 volunteers, as well as students from Midland High School and Westmont College, all under the coordination of Ken Williams, a local social worker and homeless advocate. more
