Infinity Projected : Two Bay Area artists present video and music work at Westmont

“If you saw this video installation I don’t believe you could see part of our histories in it,” says Thekla Hammond, one half of the art collaboration that has produced “Continua in Light,” opening tonight at Westmont’s Ridley-Tree Museum of Art. Her collaborator is Cheryl Calleri, a fellow Bay Area artist. Their work features a series of abstract video loops that run forward and backward, projected on nine scrims that encourage people to walk through. Music plays in this otherwise dark room, creating a very immersive experience. more
