The Westmont women took third at the confrence finals in Costa Mesa, whie the Warriors’ men’s squad was fifth.
The top individual finisher for Westmotn was Kelley Collins, who took fifth in th women’s 5k race in 18 minutes flat. Piper Bain followed her with a 14th-place finish (18:29), while Jessica Meyers was 19th in 18:57.
Westmont’s men were paced in the 8k race by Nathan Evans (11th, 26:15) and Evan Kramer (15th, 26:23). more

Kirsten Moore and Westmont College: With the community stepping up to help watch her newborn daughter, Moore continued coaching her NAIA girls basketball team after the sudden death of her husband, Alex. Moore helped lead her squad to a national championship 10 months after she lost her husband and eight months after Alexis was born. more
Westmont College’s women’s soccer team also went undefeated in the Golden State Athletic Conference. The Warriors will travel to play Concordia of Irvine for the GSAC Tournament championship on Friday. The two teams tied during the regular season. more
Esther Lee drained seven three-point field goals, including five of seven in the second half, to lead the Westmont’s women’s basketball team to a 59-48 win over Montana Tech in the final game of the Westminster Fall Classic in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The win advances Westmont (15-0-3) to the final on Nov. 15 against Concordia, a 3-2 overtime winner over The Master’s in the other semifinal. As the regular season champs, the Eagles will host the championship match in Irvine. more
