Solvang Library sponsoring new play: Ratatat Theater Group’s “Happy Few” coming Nov. 6

Ratatat Theater Group is a Santa Barbara theater company dedicated to innovative, community-oriented original work. Its first play, “Cuts,” a docu-musical comedy about hair, premiered in 2008. More recent projects include “Body/Bach-Min/Max,” which premiered at the Lit Moon Fringe Festival in 2011; “Roses,” which participated in the Company Creation Festival in Los Angeles in February of 2012; and “Laws of Motion,” presented in partnership with Westmont College in May of 2013. more

Gunn is joining Coach John Moore’s Westmont College Warriors in Montecito (just outside Santa Barbara), an NAIA squad coming off a 25-8 record with 19-9, 20-10 and 21-9 finishes in the three preceding years. In fact, Westmont has posted winning seasons in 40 of the last 42 years and Moore has been at the helm the last 20 of those years. more

Title defense gets underway for Westmont

The Westmont Men’s Polo team begins defense of its United States Polo Association’s National Championship title, one it earned last year with victories over the University of Virginia, Colorado State, and Cornell, among others. more
