56.Kim Kihlstrom, a professor of Computer Science at Westmont College, died December 12, 2013 at home following a long battle with cancer. She was born April 26, 1957 in Santa Rosa, CA to C.W. (Bud) and Virginia Potter. She received a BSEE from Stanford University in 1979. She married Ken Kihlstrom in 1978 and they raised three children: Kathy, Karen, and Kevin. more

WBK: Sampson’s 33 points carry Westmont

Kelsey Sampson scored a career high 33 points on Monday night in Murchison Gymnasium to lead eighth-ranked Westmont Women’s Basketball to an 85-71 win over the visiting Argos (8-4) of Great Falls (Mont.).

Sampson made 14 of 27 attempts from the field and drilled five of six shots from the charity stripe. She also pulled down eight rebounds and notched three blocks. more
