Warriors still perfect on court

The Westmont men’s tennis team remains unbeaten on the young season after a 5-4 victory over Concordia in a critical Golden State Athletic Conference contest Saturday afternoon. The Warriors (4-0, 2-0) were pushed to the limit by the visiting Eagles, but got a key victory from Josh Barnard at No. 4 singles that shifted the momentum and set the stage for their dramatic victory. “The match had such ups and down,” Westmont coach Mark Basham said. “This Concordia team really fought hard they were really solid at every position.” more
