Trio of sisters play first basketball game as teammates

For the first time ever, three basketball-loving sisters took the court at the Mission Valley YMCA to play basketball. San Diego-based attorney Melody Anderson, 58, plays for the Senior Women’s Basketball Association and organized a game of three-on-three with her sisters, 74-year-old Margaret Mauzy, who flew in from Indiana, and 76-year-old Naoma Clark, who lives in Tennessee.  All three share a love of hoops. …Anderson played for Wheaton College, Westmont College, and internationally with Sports Evangelism. In 1979, she was drafted by the Dallas Diamonds of the WBL, the original professional women’s basketball association. more
