Westmont Sweeps Doubleheader Against Menlo in Hoops
The Westmont College women’s basketball team started strong while the men had a good finishing kick on Thursday night. It all added up to a sweep.
The No. 2 ranked NAIA Westmont women’s team jumped on Menlo early and never let up. They led by 20 at the half and won 81-56 to improve to 16-2 on the year and 5-0 in the Golden State Athletic Conference. more

Surfer nabs suspected car burglar after paddling back to shore
A California surfer was stoked after she paddled back to shore and nabbed a man police said was breaking into her friend’s car. …Her exploits caught the attention of her alma mater Westmont College which sent out a tweet Wednesday that said: “Westmont alumna Jolie Bernal ’09 catches a burglar red handed.
