Occidental men’s basketball season tips off

The Occidental men’s basketball team tips off its season with eight more players than last year. In the 2016–17 season, the team had 13 players, but this season the team increased its roster to 21. The season began Nov. 4 with an exhibition game against Westmont College, which is a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division I team. more

Athletic Round Table: Numbers Add Up to Great Season for Westmont Volleyball

Westmont Men Edge Hope International to Win Conference Tournament

Westmont Men’s Soccer (10-4-3) defeated the Royals of Hope International by a score of 2-1 to take the Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament championship this afternoon. This is Westmont’s first GSAC Tournament championship since 2008, the same year that the Tea Fire burned part of Westmont’s campus. more

Free-Throw Shooting Leads Westmont to 4th Straight Win

Jerry Karczewski was a perfect 14-for-14 from the free-throw line and scored 34 points, leading Westmont to a 91-85 men’s basketball win over Redlands on Saturday at Murchison Gym. Sean Harman knocked down 9 of 12 free throws, and the Warriors made 29 of 35 from the charity stripe. more
