Alana Ochoa Wins Discus with Third-Best Mark in SBCC History

Andrea Mueller, a freshman from Erlenbach, Switzerland won the 100 hurdles in a season-best 15.45, improving on her No. 4 SBCC all-time mark…  Mueller is expected to compete in the Jim Klein Heptathlon at Westmont College on Thursday and Friday. The Vaqueros will race in the Westmont Collegiate Classic on Saturday at 11 a.m. more


Westmont College threw a scare into top-ranked Louisiana State Alexandria on Friday, but it was the undefeated Generals who shot a chilling 64.3 percent in the second half to pull away for an 81-61 victory in the second round of the NAIA Men’s National Basketball Championship. more

Santa Barbara Track Club Hosting Youth Meet

The Santa Barbara Track Club Relays, a track meet for youth Kindergarten through 8th grade, is slated for Sunday, March 26 at Westmont College. The meet is hosted by the Santa Barbara Track Club. First events begin at 10 a.m. more

Top seed LSU Alexandria closes out Westmont in NAIA Tournament

LSU Alexandria’s Bryan Sylvester and Brandon Moss are seldom seen on the court at the same time… But when LSU Alexandria couldn’t shake a pesky Westmont (Cal.) College in an NAIA second-round game, Sylvester and Moss found themselves together with about five minutes to play and propelled the Generals to an 81-61 victory on Friday at Municipal Auditorium. more


Freed-Hardeman University (34-0) will be the first AMC team to play in the second round when they battle The Master’s College (23-8) at 3:15 p.m. in Billings. The next game at the women’s Championship will also feature an AMC team, as Lyon (28-5) will square off against the Westmont College Warriors (28-4) at 5:30 p.m. CDT.  more
