Westmont men’s basketball coach John Moore, like many coaches, state that the ratio of baskets made to assists recorded is a good indicator of a team’s success, with more assists predicting more victories. Moore, then, was pleased with his team’s effort in the first round of the Bud Presley Classic at Menlo College, as his 25th-ranked Warriors scored a 91-69 victory over Oregon’s Northwest Christian. more

Westmont Women Roll In Tennessee, Down Bethel 54-40

JACKSON, Tenn.) Westmont’s freshman guard from Boise, Idaho, Cassidy Tiegs paced #7 Westmont Women’s Basketball (4-2) to a 54-40 win over #11 Bethel of Tennessee (5-4) on the opening day of the Jackson Rotary Classic. Tiegs made seven of 13 shots from the field including three of five from three-point range. more

Westmont Men Take Down Northwest Christian 91-69

(ATHERTON, Calif.) Westmont Men’s Basketball (7-1) started their two-game trip to the Bud Presley Classic off with a win this afternoon against Northwest Christian (Ore.) (3-1) by a score of 91-69. Ben Okhotin led the way – scoring 20 points and going 6-7 from behind the arc. more

Dahlberg repeats as GSAC MVP

Westmont College brought home the women’s volleyball gold in the Golden State Athletic Conference. Libby Dahlberg, a junior middle blocker on the Warriors’ championship squad, was voted as the league’s Player of the Year for the second-straight season, and she was joined on the all-conference team by four of her teammates. more

Sean Harman became the 42nd Westmont men’s basketball player to reach 1,000 career points, and the Warriors romped to a 90-68 win over La Sierra in the first game of the Hope Classic in Fullerton on Monday. more
