Methodist Church Hires Coronado Local as New Assistant Pastor

Pastor Lisa is a graduate of Westmont College, received her Masters of Divinity at Princeton Theological Seminary and was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church USA. Her family first moved to Coronado in 1999 when she was called to Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church. Pastor Lisa is grateful to St. Paul’s and Rev. Neal Keller for giving her the wonderful opportunity to embrace both her calls, to motherhood and to ministry, by allowing her to serve part-time as a pastor. St. Paul’s enthusiastically welcomes Pastor Lisa to their church family & looks forward to the ways in which God will use her. more

Local Spotlight: Steve Johnson, Creator of

Born and raised in Orange County, Steve studied communications at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, where he met his wife Lisa. They married in 1996 and lived in New Jersey, Colorado and San Clemente before settling down in Coronado. They now live in the area we call Olive on our Coronado Neighborhoods print, with their kids Ellie, 6, and Luke, 4, and they all love Coronado. “It’s a playground for kids and adults,” notes Steve. more
