Richmond to conclude collegiate career at NAIA Track & Field Championships

Jennah Richmond will conclude her collegiate career when she travels to Gulf Shores, Alabama for the 37th annual NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Championships… Richmond qualified for nationals in the heptathlon by finishing ninth in a field of 100 entrants at the Sam Adams Combined Events hosted by Westmont College in Santa Barbara in April. She scored 4,332 points. more

Pacific Union loses both of its games on SoCal road trip

The Pacific Union College men’s basketball team lost both of its games on a Southern California road trip last week. The Pioneers fell to Westmont College in a nonconference game in Santa Barbara, 98-87, and dropped a 91-57 exhibition decision to Cal Poly Pomona. more

Tatum Souza, Napa track standout, shines at UCLA

Competing against Olympic-level athletes in the women’s heptathlon at the Sam Adams Invitational at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, she had a personal-record time of 13.85 in taking fifth in the 100-meter hurdles. She was eighth in the high jump (5-6 1/2, personal record). She ran the 200 (25.04). more
