The shop’s name is short for “Cookies Rule Everything Around Me” and offers 20 ice cream flavors, 12 cookie flavors and 24 toppings. … The ice cream shop is run by franchise owners Haget and Kyle Olson of Corona Del Mar. … Olson is a graduate of Westmont College and has spent the past 10 years in commercial real estate and investments. more

The Northwood High athletes honored at the 39th Annual Irvine Senior Scholar Athlete Awards Event Monday night at the Irvine Valley College Performing Arts Center were Alexandria Adams, Kelsie Groot, Kelsey Heflin, Tracey Kim, Alex King, Julian Ruffin, Michael Tran and Taylor Waterson. … Adams was team captain in cross country and track.
